This 4 season tent from Desert Fox has you covered all year round, including when it snows! It is a high quality tent made for all conditions. The tent has a built in snow skirt which can be rolled up for when using it during the warmer months.
Not only is this Desert Fox tent perfect for using in cold winters when it snows it can also be used on hot summer days. The inside tent can be used on it's own when it's warm enough to fall asleep looking at the stars.
3 points of ventilation are provided with this amazing tent via two side vents on the inner tent and top vent on the outer fly tent. The inside of these vents are covered with mesh fabric to stop insects from getting in.
One of the best features of this Desert Fox tent is that it has two entrances. These dual entrances make entering and exiting the tent easier when the tent is used with two people. Another great feature of the tents doors is the front door which can be used as an awning. This is particularly useful when using the tent on a hot day when no shade can be found.
To use the front door as an awning you will need 2 extra tent ropes and pegs plus two poles (not included). Alternatively you can use a couple of smooth tree branches or tie the door up to a couple of nearby trees.
As well as making access into and out of the tent easy the dual doors give your extra storage space. This space can be used to store tramping packs and boots for two people without blocking the entrance way.
The tent is made from waterproof Polyester and Oxford cloth. Both these fabrics are waterproof up to 3,000 mm which is enough to withstand some of the heaviest rain. Not only does the tent use these waterproof fabrics it also has the seams taped with waterproof tape to stop water leaking through the tents seams.
As well as using this waterproof tape to seal the tents seams reinforced stitching is used on critical points of the tent. This reinforced stitching is used at the points of the tent which have the most tension.
